CalFlowers 2017 Fun ‘N Sun Convention

 

I.  Event Content
You acknowledge and agree that CalFlowers, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to change any and all aspects of the Event, including but not limited to, the Event name, themes, content, program, speakers, performers, hosts, moderators, venue, and time.

II.  Fees
The payment of the applicable fees for the Event is due upon registration. If such payment is insufficient or declined for any reason CalFlowers may refuse to admit you to the Event and shall have no liability in that regard.

III.  Cancellation and Refund Policy
All registered attendee name changes and/or refund requests for the Event registration fee, golf tournament, grower tour, and/or a la carte tickets must be made in writing by email to [email protected]. All refunds will be issued after the Event.

  • Cancellations received on or before July 9 will be refunded 100% of the cost of the item cancelled, less a $25 administrative fee.
  • Cancellations received between July 10 and July 30 will be refunded 50% of the cost of the item cancelled, less a $25 administrative fee.
  • Refunds will not be available for cancellations made after July 30, or for no-shows.

IV.  Admittance
Your registration entitles you to admittance to the Event(s) for which you have registered. Any and all other costs associated with your attendance (including, but without limitation, travel and accommodation expenses) shall be borne solely by you, and CalFlowers shall have no liability for such costs.

V.  Photography & Video Consent
By attending the Event you acknowledge and agree to grant CalFlowers and its affiliates the right at the Event to record, film, photograph, or capture your likeness in any media now available or hereafter developed and to distribute, broadcast, use, or otherwise globally to disseminate, in perpetuity, such media without any further approval from you or any payment to you. This grant to CalFlowers includes, but is not limited to, the right to edit such media, the right to use the media alone or together with other information, and the right to allow others to use or disseminate the media.

VI.  Photography, Recording, Live Streaming, and Videotaping
Attendees may not record or broadcast audio or video of sessions at CalFlowers Events. CalFlowers allows cameras on the show floor.  Attendees may take pictures within the show.

VII.  Attendee Badge Usage
Attendee badges must be worn at all times in Event areas.

VIII.  Badge Misuse
Attendees wearing badges from previous CalFlowers Events or falsified badges and/or sharing or swapping badges will be asked to leave the Event and may be banned from future Events. If such conduct is discovered after an Event, reserves the right to invoice violators according to onsite registration pricing and will be required to pay their invoice in full.

IX.  Antitrust
During the Event, attendees may gather in impromptu break-out sessions or unplanned meetings with industry peers.  In such a situation, you agree to adhere to all established antitrust laws.  For guidance, please visit the Federal Trade Commission website and the CalFlowers About Us page.

X.  Prohibited Conduct

  • Limitations on Use - By registering for a complimentary Fun ‘N Sun registration you agree not to sell, trade, transfer, or share your complimentary code or badge. By registering for a paid Fun ‘N Sun Registration, you agree not to share, sell or trade your badge. In the event that CalFlowers determines that you have violated this policy, CalFlowers may cancel your badge(s), retain any payments made by you, report you to law enforcement authorities, and ban you from future CalFlowers Events.
  • Disruptive Conduct - You acknowledge and agree that CalFlowers reserves the right to remove you from the Event if CalFlowers, in its sole discretion, determines that your presence or behavior create a disruption or hinder the Event or the enjoyment of the Event by other attendees. All CalFlowers badges are the property of CalFlowers and must be returned to CalFlowers upon request.
  • “Suitcasing” refers to the practice of attending a trade show but “working the aisles” from a suitcase or briefcase, soliciting business from other attendees and exhibitors. For the good of the show and the exhibitors supporting the show, the only legitimate place to conduct business during show hours is within a contracted exhibit space on the show floor. Exhibiting companies are encouraged to protect their investment and report any violations to CalFlowers management. Attendees observed soliciting business in the aisles or other public spaces, or in another company’s booth, will be ejected from the Event and may be banned from future events in CalFlowers sole discretion.

XI.  Unethical/Non-Compliant Marketing
CalFlowers reserves the right to deny admission to anyone who engages in or is reputed to engage in unethical or non-compliant marketing practices.

CalFlowers may also exclude any prospective attendee from registering for or attending any Event, in CalFlowers sole discretion. Furthermore, CalFlowers reserves the right to cancel, in its sole discretion, any attendee’s registration upon refund of the admission fees paid to CalFlowers; provided, however, that if an attendee is cancelled for violating any prohibition or requirement CalFlowers may retain all fees paid.
