USA's Largest Floral Expo Lands on California Shores

This year, California hosted the World Floral Expo (http://www.hppexhibitions.com/floriculture/2015/wfe/) in the Los Angeles Convention Center.

According to show organizers, “…the city has been chosen for its proximity to LA International airport (LAX) and the Californian flower growers’ area, who are expected to have a strong presence in the upcoming trade show. Especially for this reason the outcome of the show may lead to unexpected positive developments, such as a sales boost of Californian grown cut flowers and potted plants.”

CalFlowers, in collaboration with the California Cut Flowers Commission, organized a 3,000 square feet pavilion for growers, shippers and other members.  According to CalFlowers, the pavilion provided a cohesive, branded California flowers industry experience and make producers and service providers easy to find on the large expo floor.

WFE officials noted“…the expo will fit any company within the floriculture chain, from breeder to retailer.” Some 60 companies, from North America, Central and South American and Europe have secured exhibit space that will total 60,000 square feet. More than 1,100 attendees met with exhibitors during the three days.

CalFlowers offered discounted pricing on space in the pavilion and did marketing and promotion of the pavilion to drive traffic.
